These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website www.JChandlerArtistry.com (the "Site") and the purchase of art classes, workshops, or services provided by J. Chandler Artistry ("the Studio," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this Site or purchasing a class, you agree to these Terms.

1. Registration and Eligibility

• Booking: All classes must be booked and paid for in full through our GoDaddy-hosted online store prior to the start of the session.
• Age Requirements: Participants must be 16+ years old, or have a parent/guardian sign a waiver for youth sessions.

2. Payment and Fees

• Pricing: All prices are listed in USD. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time.
• Transaction Security: Payments are processed securely via GoDaddy Payments/PayPal/Stripe. We do not store full credit card details on our local servers.
• CT Sales Tax: Classes may be subject to Connecticut sales tax as required by state law. 

3. Cancellation and Refund PolicyTo maintain fairness for our instructors and other students, we adhere to the following:

• Student Cancellations:
  • 7+ Days Notice: Full refund minus a [Insert Amount, e.g., $15] processing fee.
  • 2–6 Days Notice: 50% studio credit or partial refund.
  • Less than 48 Hours/No-Shows: No refunds or credits will be issued.
• Studio Cancellations: If we must cancel a class due to low enrollment or weather, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule. 

4. Intellectual Property

• Studio Content: All instructional materials, curriculum, and website content are the property of the Studio.
• Student Work: You own the physical artwork you create. However, we reserve the right to use photographs of class activities and finished projects for promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing. 

5. Code of ConductWe strive to provide a safe, creative environment. We reserve the right to remove any participant who is disruptive, under the influence, or violates safety protocols without a refund. 

6. Limitation of Liability

• Physical Risks: Art instruction involves tools (brushes, knives) and chemicals (paints, solvents). You assume all risks associated with participation.
• Website Use: We are not liable for any technical issues, data loss, or downtime caused by our hosting provider, GoDaddy. 

7. Governing LawThese Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Haven County, CT. CT.GOV-Connecticut's Official State Website (.gov)
